The China-Europe Train Runs At A New Speed

With the rising sun in 2023, all ports are busy, and a number of China-Europe trains have successively issued the first train of the new year, forging ahead towards new goals.

In the past 10 years, China-Europe Express has connected 108 cities in China and 208 cities in 25 European countries, with a total of 65,000 trains and 6.04 million TEUs. The China-Europe Express has burst out great energy in accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and building a new international trade channel with two-way mutual trust between east and west and linkage between land and abroad. With the optimization of epidemic prevention and control measures, the supply chain operation has become smoother, and the international railway transportation of China-Europe trains will also be busier.
Not only that, CEIBS has contributed greatly to the optimization measures such as providing customized international logistics solutions to meet the foreign trade transportation needs of local manufacturing enterprises. The opening of some "customized trains" has more effectively ensured the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain. Taking the China-Europe Express (Changsha) as an example, 113 local manufacturing trains will be launched in Hunan in 2022, accounting for more than 40% of the value of goods transported in the province.
"There is a certain strategy, and then there is a certain work". In the future, the China-Europe Express will undoubtedly play a greater role in international transportation. Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission said that promoting the "hard connection" of infrastructure, further smoothing international transportation, ensuring the security of the international logistics supply chain and focusing on promoting the "soft connection" of institutional rules will be the key work to strengthen international cooperation in China's international logistics capacity building. Among them, it includes accelerating the construction of China-Europe train assembly centers.
